Believe it or not, there are times when tenants just don't pay their rent (I know, it baffles me every time!).  While we never like to sell someone else's stuff, there are times that we just have to.  We give our renters numerous opportunities to get caught up, including right up to the day and time of the auction.  

Please check our site in the spring and the fall for details of our next auction.  We will list the date and time of auction, number of units that are currently delinquent and candidates for sale, as well as  a description of the contents.  We keep this site UP TO DATE on a daily basis, so you can count on the accuracy of the information you are reading.

RULES for live on-site auctions:
  • No early sales.  Auction begins at 9:00 am sharp.  We hold our auctions on Saturdays.
  • Bidders will be able to see the contents of the unit prior to bidding.  The storage unit door will be opened and bidders can observe the contents just as the tenants have left them.  Bidders will not be allowed inside of the unit.
  • CASH only.  If you do not have CASH you will be disqualified. (Sorry, CASH is KING)
  • Winning bidders accept all contents of the units they have won.  All contents from the units must be removed from the premises. 
  • Winners will have 48 hours to remove their items from the premises. 
  • Winning bidders will pay their balance in full at the conclusion of the auction and will receive a key to the unit.  Winning bidders will also be required to sign a lease for the unit, and will pay standard security and key deposits.  Deposits will be refunded in FULL and no rent will be charged if the keys are returned by Monday morning.  If the key is not returned, you have begun renting the storage unit and will be subject to all terms and conditions of renting the unit at STOR-IT Self Storage.

UNITS and their CONTENTS available for auction will be kept up to date on this website, so you will know with absolute certainty which units remain on schedule to be sold.   Units will be promptly removed from the "Upcoming Auction" listing if/when tenants have paid and the units are no longer part of the auction.
